Jessie Susana is guaranteed to put her foot in her mouth. Writer. Artist. Storyteller. Mom. Genuinely optimistic. Raised on a wild hillside in Northern California. As a girl, she wrote poetry and short stories, sketched, built campfires, carved soapstone, rode horses and motorcycles, but not at the same time.
Jessie holds an MA in Individualized Studies (Creative Nonfiction and Motherhood Studies). She wrote a memoir and process paper about finding her voice via poetry while learning about the ideal of the good mother.
